Beyond the peloton begins…
It all began on a Sunday in early February. After a few rainy days – an unusual occurrence in Sicily – I woke up that morning motivated to go on a bike ride. Inspired by the gray and chilly weather, I decided to take my camera along to capture the moments that unfolded.
The Idea of storytelling my rides through photography has been something I’ve wanted to do for a long time. For me cycling goes beyond the sport itself; it’s a precious time to pause and disconnect from the busyness of life, allowing me to fully embrace the world around me. As I ride, I see my surroundings with a clear mind and in slow-motion, I appreciate the details of the landscapes. I observe nature and the people I encounter with curiosity, all while pushing my physical limits to explore places that many may never get to see.
